”Reso” is located 20 miles by boat from Picton, and is the northernmost accommodation on the Queen Charlotte Track, 1.5hrs from Ship Cove. The cabins are rustic with lots of character.“Reso” offers swimming, snorkelling, a private marine reserve at the end of the jetty, kayaking, dinghies, farm animals, 120 acres of farm land, some organic gardening & more! Normal prices: $25 p”p a night (cabins) / $8 p”p (tenting) 50% discount to HIT members only $12.5 p”p (in cabins) / $4 p”p (tenting)! - This deal is for no more then 6 people a day, and is good for a maximum of 1 week for each person! A sanctuary... Tranquil, peaceful and a rest from your travels. We have 12Km of coastline & bush walks. Access via mail-boat, which departs once a week (Thursday) from Havelock or 2 hours drive from Havelock / Picton to our boundary at Waimaru Reserve (an hour away from our home by 4x4 vehicle) where, with advance notice, we can pick you up from. |
